I am married to David and we are blessed with two daughters, Monica born in 1992 (recently qualified as a teacher and will be teaching grade 4’s at Durbanville Primary as from 2015) and Carmen born 1995 (Studying tourism at CPUT). I grew up in the Southern Suburbs and attended the Methodist Church in Claremont. My granny was the Sunday school superintendent and my mom was a Sunday school teacher for many years. We joined DMC as members in 1995. On the 2nd April 2006, I joined the staff at DMC as the receptionist. When Lorraine, our previous secretary, passed away suddenly in June 2010, I was offered the position as secretary. It is a blessing to serve the congregation here at DMC. I feel really privileged that God has entrusted me with this position.
I started at Durbanville Methodist Church 21 June 2010 as Receptionist.
I am married to Greg. We have two adult children. I have been in the
Textile Trade for 30 years. We joined DMC as members in 2004.
We are blessed to be part of this congregation.
Jeffrey started working at DMC on the 28 Feb 1994. He assisted with the planting and arranging of the beautiful gardens around the church.
He is married with 2 school going children. Jeffrey also helps with any odd thing around the church. Setting up tables and chairs for functions, helping at the soup kitchen on a Friday morning, carrying all sorts of items around. He is always willing to help and never complains about any job he has to do. Jeffrey is a true asset to DMC.
Caroline started working at DMC in December 2013, part time. She has since been employed monthly working Monday – Thursday. Caroline makes sure the church and offices are kept neat and tidy and helps with organizing and setting up for functions.
She is married to Jannie with 2 school going children. She is always willing to help and never complains about any job she is given to do. Caroline has already proved that she is an asset to DMC.
