MINISTER’S NOTE 11 JUNE 2023
I wonder if you remember moments in your life
when you have heard God’s call, either into a new
dimension of your relationship with Himself, or to a
particular course of action or area of service.
The whole concept of God calling people is fundamental
to a life of faith, a life following Jesus, and
yet it seems it’s one of the areas, esp. of spiritual life
that we struggle with the most. I have often heard
people saying that they think they are hearing God
calling but they are not sure.
Perhaps this Sunday we can clarify things a little bit,
at least so that we can all have the assurance that
“He is calling us”, yes each one and together as a
Church, to His purpose for us here in SA in 2023, and
how we can hear the call more clearly.
