What is the purpose?

With the Lord’s help, we are committed to honouring the suggestions put forth by the congregation, to develop objectives to revitalize and enrich our church.

Summary

All congregational suggestions have been reviewed by the steering committee and objectives have been thoughtfully drafted.

There has been good progress made this year on some of the objectives, namely the Faithful Witnesses course and the monthly youth events. But we acknowledge a lot of work is still required to bring these ministries to maturity.

We believe that the steering committee has satisfied the mandate placed on us by the leader’s meeting. That is, to develop enriching and revitalising objectives for the church, through the suggestions pertaining to the focus areas identified at the congregational diagnosis weekend.

On 26 October the Steering Committee met and drafted a plan to take these objectives forward. Interim ministry leaders have been assigned as per the table below.

We request the leader’s meeting review and approve these individuals for these positions, with the intention of starting these ministries off and finding the best individuals or teams for these areas.
