MINISTER’S NOTE 20 OCTOBER 2024
I remember a song we used to sing at Sunday School:
He’s got the whole world in his hands.
When we try to carry the burden of every worry or control
every outcome, we forget that we serve a God who
holds all things in His hands. The same God who created
the heavens and the earth, who set the stars in place, is
the One who cares deeply for you and knows the desires
of your heart.
Isaiah 55 reminds us that God’s thoughts are higher than
our thoughts, His ways higher than our ways. It’s in moments
when we don’t understand, when things seem
uncertain or difficult, that we need to trust in His divine
wisdom and plan. Let go of the need to have all the answers,
and instead, lean into God’s unfailing love and
sovereignty.
Give God space to work in your life in ways beyond what
you can imagine.
Let God be God, He’s got the whole world in His hands.
With love and blessings,
Vuyelwa.
