Minister’s Note 1 December 2024
As we step into the season of Advent,
we are reminded that this is not just a
time of waiting but a season of active
preparation. Advent calls us to lift
our eyes in watchfulness and open
our hearts in teachability, trusting that
God is at work in the world and in our lives.
As we begin this Advent season, may we commit
to being both watchful and teachable. Watchful
to see God’s movement in our lives, even in unexpected
ways. Teachable to learn His ways of justice,
compassion, and love.
In a world that often feels heavy with fear and brokenness,
Advent reminds us of the hope we have in
Christ. He is the light that shines in the darkness, and
He invites us to walk in His ways, bringing His love
and peace to the world.
May this Advent be a time of renewed faith, active
hope, and joyful anticipation as we prepare our
hearts for the coming of our Saviour.
