MINISTER’S NOTE 1 JUNE 2025
As we journey through this sacred space between Ascension
and Pentecost, I invite you to pause and take to
heart the powerful truth that Jesus prays for you. In John
17, we hear his prayer not only for his first disciples, but for
all who would come to believe through their witness – including
us today. His prayer is simple, yet profound: “That
they may all be one.”
In a world marked by division, loneliness, and fear, this
prayer calls us into a deeper way of being – a way
shaped by love, unity, and shared purpose. Jesus asks us
to be connected: to him, to one another, and to the very
heart of God.
Let us take this season to reflect on how we are living out
Jesus’ prayer. Are we making space for others in our
hearts and community? Are we allowing the love of God
to shape our words, our attitudes, our priorities?
Let us recommit ourselves to the unity and love Jesus
longs for. Let our congregation be a living sign of his prayer
in action – a place where grace is practiced and
where the glory of Christ is made visible through our love.
You are deeply loved, and your life is part of God’s beautiful
answer to Jesus’ prayer.
