Minister’s Note                    20 July 2025

Kingdom Rhythms – The Rhythm of Attention

In a world that moves at a fast and unwavering pace,
where our days are often filled with noise, demands, and
distractions, we are invited to slow down and listen. Jesus
calls us into a different rhythm – a Kingdom rhythm that
centres our lives not on busyness, but on being present to
what truly matters.

This Sunday, we reflect on the rhythm of attention. Attention
is more than focus; it’s about presence. It’s choosing
stillness over constant motion, listening over reacting, and
depth over surface. When we give our attention to God,
to others, and to our inner lives, we begin to live with intention
rather than on autopilot.

You are invited to resist the pressure to do more, be
more, and prove more. Instead, hear the gentle whisper
of Jesus calling you to sit, breathe, and be. The Kingdom
way is not about impressing God – it’s about being with
Him. It is in this posture of stillness that our hearts are refreshed,
our priorities are realigned, and our lives begin to
reflect the peace we long for.

This week, may you make space to pause. Turn down the
volume of the world and tune in to the voice of grace.
Let attention be your offering – attention to God’s presence,
to the people you love, to the beauty and meaning
woven into ordinary moments.

You are deeply loved, seen, and held by the One who
delights in simply being with you.

Blessings,
Vuyelwa.
