MINISTER’S NOTE 27 JULY 2025
Kingdom Rhythms
The Rhythm of Prayerful Trust
As we wrap up our Kingdom Rhythms series this Sunday,
I invite us to speak honestly about something
many of us wrestle with – prayer. Not the polished
kind, but the real, messy, sometimes silent kind. The
kind that feels dry some days, and deeply comforting
on others.
This week’s rhythm is prayerful trust. Not just bringing
our needs to God – though that’s important – but
learning to rest in God’s presence, even when we
don’t have the words. It’s about drawing near,
again and again, trusting that God is good, even
when life feels uncertain or unfair.
Prayerful trust doesn’t require perfect faith. It simply
invites us to keep showing up, to be honest, and to
let God meet us where we are – in the joy and in
the struggle. If you’ve been finding it hard to pray
lately, you’re not alone. But don’t give up. Keep
the rhythm. God is with you, holding you through it
all.
This Sunday also marks my last service with you before
I go on two months’ leave. I’ll miss you all, and I
carry you in prayer. I look forward to being with you
again in October, refreshed and ready for the next
season together.
With love and grace,
Vuyelwa.
