Hearing Your Name in the Crowd
In a world full of noise, where it’s so easy to feel unseen
or forgotten, today’s message reminds us of
something deeply personal: God sees you. Just as
Jesus looked up into that sycamore tree and called
Zacchaeus by name, He still calls each of us by
name, not as part of a crowd, but as beloved individuals.
You are not lost in the multitude of life. God knows
where you are, what weighs on your heart, and
what brings you joy. He calls you not because
you’ve done everything right, but because His love
reaches beyond our shortcomings.
When Jesus invited Himself to Zacchaeus’s house, it
was an invitation into belonging. That same invitation
is open to you – to welcome Christ into your
everyday life, your home, your story. And when we
truly encounter His love, something beautiful happens:
our hearts begin to change. We start restoring
what’s broken and become instruments of healing
in our world.
So, as you go through this week, listen for God’s
voice. Hear your name spoken with tenderness and
purpose. You are known. You are loved. And you
are called to live as someone who belongs to Christ
and helps others find that same belonging.
