MINISTER’S NOTE                    9 AUGUST 2026

Today we join people across South Africa in celebrating
Women’s Day. We give thanks to God for the countless
women whose faith, courage, wisdom, compassion, and
resilience continue to shape our homes, our communities,
and the life of the Church. Through each of them, God’s
love is made visible in remarkable ways.

As we honour women today, may we also commit ourselves
to building a community where every person is
valued, every voice is heard, every gift is welcomed, and
every life is treated with dignity and respect. This is the
calling of the whole Church. God entrusts His mission to
all His people, inviting each of us to offer our unique gifts
in His service, so that together we may bear witness to
Christ in the world.

I am especially grateful that the women of our congregation
will be leading our worship today. We receive
their ministry with joy and thanksgiving, recognising that
the Holy Spirit continues to call, equip, and work through
all God’s people for the building up of the Church.

May this service encourage your faith, deepen your
hope, and strengthen our shared commitment to love
God and to serve our neighbours with humility, courage,
and love.

Blessings,
Vuyelwa.
